Mother-Daughter Press is a small group of women (and honorary women) exploring creativity, connection to the natural world. We are interested in the way that women and girls are or are not included in the larger cultural conversation. Noticing the limited way older women and girls are portrayed in our culture we are committed to inquiry, exploration, creativity, and humor so as to assure a much broader range of choices is possible for us all.

Mother Daughter Press was inspired by the creative legacy of award-winning photographer Gay Bumgarner and formed in 2010 by her daughter Sharon McDonnell and her daughter Natalya McDonnell. This is a family agency with three generations of published photographers and invited guest photographers.
